03 / YOUR REPORT

A result you can

Learn the report’s own definitions, keep diagnosis out of the interpretation, and compare the complete baseline with a same-method retest.

Six fields. Three questions each.

The current official BalanceTest listing says eleven measured fatty acids are translated into six report values. Every explanation below follows the same discipline: what the field reflects, what it does not diagnose, and why comparison matters.

Omega-6:3 balance

Reflects: AA (Omega‑6) divided by EPA (Omega‑3). Omega‑9 is measured in the full profile but is not part of this headline ratio. Does not diagnose: inflammation, disease, or dietary deficiency. Comparison: use the same formula and method at baseline and retest.

Omega-3 level

Reflects: EPA plus DHA within this report. Does not diagnose: brain, heart, or immune function. Comparison: retain both separate values and the combined marker.

Protection value / fatty acid score

Reflects: a composite of the Omega‑6 ratio, Omega‑3 level, and AA/EPA balance. Does not diagnose: protection from a medical condition or a person’s health status. Comparison: compare only within the same reporting framework.

Cell membrane fluidity

Reflects: (PA + SA) divided by (EPA + DHA). Does not diagnose: cellular health or nutrient absorption. Comparison: read it alongside its component fatty acids.

Mental strength / cognitive fatty acid index

Reflects: AA divided by EPA plus DHA. Does not assess: cognition, mental health, learning, memory, mood, or behavior. Comparison: use the label only as the report defines it.

AA, EPA, and DHA detail

Reflects: measured fatty-acid percentages used across the report. Does not diagnose: a condition or cause. Comparison: keep the full table, not only the headline ratio.

Baseline versus retest

A later report is useful because it documents another sample after a defined interval. It does not prove that every difference came from one product. Diet, consistency, specimen collection, analytical variation, and other changes can contribute.
